Good with the M10 rules, and actually a great guy to enchant with auras. It's a pity that he gets outclassed quite a bit by the new hexproof guys who are now everywhere.
I'm really not a fan of replacing all these kinds of effects to hexproof instead of shroud. Guys like these who aren't all upside add much more depth to the game.
How is this not all upside you ask? Your auras can only be cast if you have a mana open, otherwise he'll have shroud :)

Green has so many non-land mana sources that this is quite playable.

This guys may or may not be better than Humble Budoka. Seeing as you can boost it, and just respond to their bolts may make it better, but it's less splashable. Also, you may have to tap your lands in respond to their removal, and then have no mana open for your own removal in their turn.

Okay, I will combo this with Chimeric Idol, and Wave Thrasher with a Quest for Renewal, for good measure...
NOT seriously making it a possibility...
BUT it is for fun!!
