It is very interesting to me that in the early days they thought "YOUR creatures get +1/+1" was too strong and made it universal instead. See also Gauntlet of Might, Copper Tablet, Lord of Atlantis, Howling Mine, Goblin King, etc. It took them 10 or 15 years to make the simpler and more intuitive versions of these cards that only affect your side. I would like to hear Richard Garfield's thoughts on this.

The Knights of the Tin Can were known for their ferocity in battle and their carelessness with fireworks. Often they would save a village and then accidentally burn it to the ground during the post-battle celebration. Also, across Dominaria, no one knew what the cross symbol on their uniforms meant.

Twice overshadowed by Honor of the Pure these days.
(Unless you're making use of the global effect in a multiplayer-game, mabe.)

Obsolete with the release of Honor of the Pure. But, then again, most copies of this card have probably been reduced to dust anyway.
