In the same manner as making all lands die immediately as a state-based effect, making the game last 3 more hours is a very heinous thing to do.
There have been games where everyone quit because someone kept resetting everyone's life total to something like 300 or so.
(I have to admit, that was kind of funny)

False Cure would work. In taking the ruling from another card, but same principle:
If a player's life total is doubled, that player actually gains or loses the necessary amount of life. For example, if the life total of the enchanted creature's controller is 14 when Celestial Mantle's triggered ability resolves, the ability causes that player to gain 14 life. Other cards that interact with life gain or life loss will interact with this effect accordingly.
You gain or lose the appropriate amount of life to get to that total.

Lorendorky, I don't think False Cure works. Their just becomes that number. It's like how Sorin Markov's -3 ability doesn't count as a loss of life.
Anyway, I think this card was perfect for the Political Puppets deck. It's too bad it doesn't really win (minus Insurrection)

Hilarious in a reanimate dead deck. One player conceded and resetting the life totals gave me enough time to get to better cards to get the win. 3 hour hand, however, which wasnt much fun for everyone else, but since winning is what matters....
