much better than Act of Treason. Being an instant, it can be used as a cool combat trick.

Way back in the day when Ice Age was new this along with False Demise and Kjeldoran Dead powered my UB control. Nothing finer than to steal your False Demise'd creature, smack you with it, and then sack that creature to the Kjeldoran Dead.

Then Time Spiral went and gave us the even better though more expensive Fool's Demise though if you are running a control deck that cost is no worse than other control spells. Ah fun times fun times, slow though.

First, I must say how pleased I am to see the Mirage art, and how happy I am that Mirage and Visions haven't been forgotten.

This card's been a favorite of mine for a long time, and it's the epitome of blue's penchant for manipulation. I can't count the times I've used it, and how many outcomes it's yielded. Plus, it combos with so many things: Ritual of the Machine, Lord of Tresserhorn, Fling, Infernal Tribute, Carrion etc. Not to mention all the creatures that get buffs from sacrificing creatures.

Oh, Ray of Command, so many fond memories.
