I think it's really funny that the only available insect tokens for this guy without infect are the Ants from Ant Queen. I really wish the Commander decks came with tokens for the cards included that produced them.

And to think I keep waiting for Symbiotic Beast to get placed in a core set...

This guy is a BAMF. Green loves put into graveyard effects as much as come into play effects and getting mass tokens for either effect is great! Surviving a board wipe and getting tons of free tokens is crazy good for green (necessary in EDH) and this guy is a 7/7 for 8 that can make seven tokens - 14 damage for 8 mana and reanimation loves the creature body. Granted there are guys like Wolfbriar and Verdeloth who can create massive tokens with ridiculous mana, but the real heroes of green can produce those effects conditionally instead making them great cards all the time instead of just some of the time. This guy is on par with examples like: Avenger of Zendikar, Regal Force, Woodfall Primus, Mitotic Slime, Yavimaya Elder, Primeval Titan and the other new Command series fatty Hornet Queen.

Technically, cleaning the wurm's hide is also a benefit for the insects too, since those parasites are probably their food.

The only thing this card needs to be both more in line with modern power and NOT a Stupid Mythic Dork, is Trample.

Just Trample. Simple, beautiful Trample. Like Green Flying, one of the most important words in MAGIC. :)

Very underrated card! Reminds me alot of Verdant Force. Big fatty that has tons of Field advantage when he dies(where force builds advantage on the field). Easy to ramp out in mono green and synergizes well with natural order. Modern fatties are a bit more insane though but I'm old school
