So, I was playing Riku of Two Reflections against The Mimeoplasm. I had around 30 power worth of creatures, all indestructible thanks to my twin Spearbreaker Behemoths, and dropped him to 8 life (against 35). This was the only thing left alive in his board.
Then, he topdecked a Traumatize. This became a 38/38, flew past my tapped creatures and ended the game for me.

TL,DR: this thing is a huge threat, kill it.

They really did a good job in finding cards not great elsewhere but insane in EDH. This guy is a huge target, unfortunately.

@AXER - While I do agree that you should use LoE, I also feel this guy would be great alongside him in a BUG Mill deck, where you can Glimpse the Unthinkable and buff this guy buy 10/10, or maybe alongside Wrexial, the Risen Deep, where again; you have him getting a massive buff, FOR FREE. Lord of Extinction gets that buff as well, but he doesn't have any other abilities either, whereas this guy can fly over many attackers. Makes me wonder why something as large as Lord of Extiction doesn't have Trample....

I would also say that throwing Sword of Vengeance and Swiftfoot Boots (or some other form of protection) basically makes him the most powerful thing on the board while he gets stronger.

While I agree that LoE has more of a wow factor to it, this not only flies above most counters and defenders swarms decks have, but the counters get to stay even if your opponent uses stuff like Nihil Spellbomb's or Tormod's Crypt's you.

One advantage that this guy has over Lord of Extinction is that if the graveyards get wiped somehow he'll stick around as big as he was before, where Lord wouldn't. Of course, that means you're playing with the kind of jerks that like to exile graveyards.

Some kind of +1/+1 Counter Deck or Zombie Deck otherwise just run Lord of Extinction.

Absolutely perfect in Mimeoplasm's deck. Windfall? Shared Trauma? Awesomeness.

A magnet for removal, but evasion and the capacity to grow very fast can make it terrifying if it gets going. I once used Traumatize while this was on the field... Yeah, my opponent scooped.
