Platinum Angel meets Pelakka Wurm. Not broken by any means, but it's got excellent design. Plus, I'm always happy to see a Wurm at Mythic.

@ pedrodyl: you're far more likely to get a Duskdale Wurm...
Anyway, I have mixed feelings about this card. First off, it's the Mythic wurm that always needed, and that art is gorgeous. On the other hand, I feel like it should have been a Pelakka Wurm on steroids, instead of a Worship on legs (or no legs...). Regardless, it'll probably be a nightmare to play against when you've run out of removal. And I'll pick up a copy because it's a Wurm with gorgeous art.

Until someone uses sign in blood or vapor snag on you. This can't prevent loss of life. Any card which causes you to "lose life" would be an easy way to get past this.

@Antsache: Wrong. "Your life total becomes 7" always implies "You gain the amount of life needed so that your life total becomes 7." It's that way with all cards that state "your life total becomes...", for example, see the rulings on Tree of Redemption.
Therefore, cards like Forsaken Wastes, Havoc Festival and the mentioned Sulfuric Vortex will impede the EtB effect of the wurm.

Lotsofpoopy says "If you give this guy shroud or hexproof than you can't lose!"
1. If you lose life that's not from damage, you can still lose.
2. You can still lose from having no cards in your library or having 10 poison counters.
3. It's "then", not "than".
He did not say he was a pro this time.
