When Mikaeus comes in, Bloodflow Connoisseur says something like:
All your creatures gets +1/+1, then I take +X/+X, number of creatures that you controlled^^

Fantastic in my Green/Black deck. Lets me sac most of my creatures twice, including my land fetchers! Just using a couple Dawntreader Elk with him ensures I never need to worry about land again. Works fantastic with morbid triggers for this reason. He's basically a lord for anything but humans, which works for me.
Plus 5/5 intimidate by itself is nothing to laugh at as long as you aren't facing black or artifact based decks.

I think it's worth mentioning that most creatures with a printed p/t of 0/0 still need to be destroyed or sac'd manually because of Mikaeus' nonhuman 1/1 buff! This applies to fun Ghave/pentavus/etc shenanigans. I didn't catch that for a while.

@Tearthesky: It also bears mentioning that Heartless Summoning is in color and makes getting the combo pieces out quite a lot easier. ;)

Poor Mikaeus. :( His undead form is quite the beast. So many abilities on this thing. At six mana, he's pretty much unplayable in Constructed, and a 99% "I win" bomb in Limited. I thought about trying to make him work in a Birthing Pod deck, but he just seems too slow, and there were so many other great six-drops.

Love the concept of this card. Bought two for my zombie deck to add a little flavor! =)
I've been reading the comments and think some people are somewhat confused about the wording and/ or rules.
704.5r. If a permanent has both a +1/+1 counter and a -1/-1 counter on it, N +1/+1 and N -1/-1 counters are removed from it, where N is the smaller of the number of +1/+1 and -1/-1 counters on it.
704.7. If a state-based action results in a permanent leaving the battlefield at the same time other state-based actions were performed, that permanent’s last known information is derived from the game state before any of those state-based actions were performed.
Example: You control Young Wolf, a 1/1 creature with undying, and it has a +1/+1 counter on it. A spell puts three -1/-1 counters on Young Wolf. Before state-based actions are performed, Young Wolf has one +1/+1 counter and three -1/-1 counters on it. After state-based actions are performed, Young Wolf is in the graveyard... (see all)
