Very nice creature to load up with enchantments or equipment, as well as a very prime target for Coalition Flag.

Now better with Lord of the Unreal, since its creature type has been changed to illusion. Of course, its ability is moot while he is out because only you can target it, but you can still make good use of it before the lord arrives to keep Mistfolk on the table.

Nice ability, sorta like Trollshroud, but not. Heading in that direction. The next set had Magic's first selective-targetability creature.

A card that was formerly rubbish, hard to kill but who would bother? Now as everyone has removals pouring out of nearly every colour, and enchantments and artifacts have been significantly pumped up, heavily weaponised mistfolk start to look dangerous.

My, that's a big double-bladed sword you are holding there...

I like how he turns redirect into cancels for creature removal, and burn spells.
