A two drop flyer that can buff up another creature and put him in the air for practically free? And he's two stars? I've been in plenty of situations where one of these on the board could've won it for me.
Everything dies to removal of some sort. Blue has ways to protect it, you know.

Yet another "I really want to be an enchantment" creature. Reminds me of those courier guys from Onslaught, like Frightshroud Courier or Flamestick Courier. Except those guys don't give a two-for-one if you kill them.

Very flavorful, like many other buff cards from that time. In a world without removal this guy would be very popular. Unfortunately, that world does not exist, and this guy screams 2 for 1 with added disruption to the enemy. Worst kind of boltbait.

Ah, the olden days, where overly long text boxes could roam free.

Nice ability, risky but it's on a 2-mana creature and only costs a tap to activate.

I give it a 3.5/5.
1.5: It's a 1/1 flyer for {1}{U}, not good but not abysmal either.
1: Fantastic Melissa Benson art!
1: Extremely flavorful, you know exactly what's happening.

It's a shame this card is so bad, I really like the artwork.

One part Flying Carpet, one part Kjeldoran Guard, it's the original Licid!
