Yes, you're right, this card is completely worthless against decks that don't play a large number of creatures of any one color. That's not exactly a massive risk.

There's also the fact that a heavily multicolor deck will probably be playing...multicolor creatures! All of which would totally be effected.

This card wins games. It's amazing and has a pretty steep price tag for an uncommon, too.

Problem with this card in my opinion is, if you and both your opponent play multicolored decks, you won't remove all of his cards and posibly will have to remove yours. While you payed 4 mana, he will begin his next turn with all of his mana ready to throw his strongest permanents back at your head.

Also it's completely useless against artifact decks.

Still, returning not one or two but simply ALL permanents of one color is great cleaning and often fatal blow, so i give this card 3.5.

Compared to Upheaval, this one is less reliable, but in many situations better. While Upheaval is better to restart the battlefield, this one gives you chance to beat the living **** out of the other guy.

One of my friends used to irritate me with an all green elf deck. I used this as part of my deck to counter that deck. When used properly, this card is priceless =D

Use with lace effects. Blind Seer is in the same set.
