I may actually see the day where I can build a successful tribal griffon deck. Well, mostly tribal.

@Firesplitter, If you wouldn't consider playing this in your Limited deck, then you need to stay very far away from Limited. Either that, or come at the store I play at, so I can have an easy opponent to beat.
2/3 fliers for 3 are generally quite decent, if not better. 3 toughness resists a good amount of damage sources and 2 evasive power beats down well enough. It doesn't look like it'll be as good in this limited as it was in Innistrad (where this guy was called Chapel Geist) but he's fine nonetheless. He won't win you the game on his own but he'll be s solid team member.

Griffins are getting slightly better in every block. By linear regression, in approximately seven years they will be outclassing the titans.

Finally, another Griffin you can get out before turn 4 that isn't a bag of crap. This'll join Diving Griffin and Azorius First-Wing as a card to round out the awful mana curve most Griffin decks struggle with.

Decent low costing griifin slowly adds to the decent list of griffin and griffin related cards... maybe we are being seeded for the griffin/pegasus/salamander block.

This would be better with Deathtouch and Lifelink. But you know, that would kind of turn it into a game breaking mistake of a card...

2/3 flier for 3 isn't BAD, guys. It's just...underwhelming.
It's a common. Deal with it.

Pros like me know how good fliers can be in the right deck. Especially, low-costed commons like this one.

Why Wizards??? WHYYYY must you make every griffin so mediocre?! Pretty sweet art on this one though.

I would consider this if I only had 8 creatures in my limited deck.. Otherwise, no.
