It's like the Flowstone guys, except less stone and all about flow.

Whenever something reminds me of Morpha, I have WW2-like flashbacks to the Water Temple when I was like 8... *shudders*

It's like a hydra (the actual animal) mixed with that hydropseudopod from Abyss. I love the concept, blue got some really cool aquatics this set.

Connie Willis describes a creature identical to this one in her short story "Uncharted Territory". She calls it Tsili Tsala or something, meaning "no passage" or "don't cross".

There's Black Lotuses in the bottom-left corner.

For a creature surrounded by Lotuses, this is horribly underpowered.

Flowstone Shambler, finally done right. While Flowstone Shambler was always a 2/2 or a 3/1 (neither of which is good), this guy's power and toughness are always decent for a 3 CMC Blue creature.

It's the most amazing Magic art that I've seen. The creature itself is so-so, but the art is wonderful.
