It is better then Unsummon... it does more. Why does Unsummon have a higher rating? It does less...

Gives you a very odd bonus... but still something. Not sure if you would cast this on a creature that is already pacified... but maybe a few cards worth using this for:

Daybreak Coronet This card = lots of auras in your deck
Pariah Secure a bounce for the lock card vs heavy damage decks

Any of the nice hybrid enchantments from Eventide & Shadowmoor are worth giving an extra life too as well.

This card has the weirdest flavor text. A journal entry about another journal? But the strangest bit is the citation. Author unknown? That has to be some kind of deliberate foreshadowing (if anyone should know whose journal it is, it's the people who made up the quote in the first place).

It might be fun to flip through sets since Ice Age to see if we're given more hints about the mysterious journal-keeper-who-kept-Uzra's-journals.

Not better or worse than Unsummon. Unsummon can explode all of their boosting enchantments, but can't save yours or your lockdowns. Likewise, if someone Pacifies your fattie, using this on it really doesn't help. At all.
That being said, I do like this card. Very handy.

Eh? It helps plenty vs. an opposing Pacifism; only white enchantments you own are bounced - you don't own the Pacifism your opponent cast.

I honestly don't understand why they ever felt the need to print a "strictly better" version of Unsummon. Unsummon was fine - a totally balanced and useable card.
