Early on in my Magic days, one of my classmates presented to me a card that "showed" that the game was "Satanic." And that card was none other than.......Durkwood Boars!
Not even Lord of the Pit or the old prints of Unholy Strength.
Yes, to him, the Boars might as well have had "666" etched in their heads. He was convinced that the Bible flavor text meant the Boars were possessed by the devil.
I paid it no mind, but I think of that every time I see those old Boars in my box-o'-cards-I-don't-really-use-anymore.

Yeah, but if your opponent unloads with Phthisis, who would you rather have - the treefolk or this badboy?
Durkwood Boars - the true face of green.

"Durkwood Boars - the true face of green."
Green must be pretty damn happy. I mean just look at that face; I don't think you could be happier than that boar if you tried.

Strictly worse than Blanchwood Treefolk, and that's really saying something. A good candidate for the title of "Worst Magic Card Ever".

At least Stampeding Rhino tramples and Plated Spider has reach. 20 years into magic and we have a decent 4G common with Nessian Asp.
