Should be a snow card anyway. For that matter, if they did what A3Kitsune suggests and made it have a c-upkeep of 1 snow mana, they wouldn't really need the owner of a snowland restriction. That way, if you used it in another deck, it'd just be an ineffective and overpriced Fog.

Too high a cumulative upkeep cost. Would be good if that was 1 (or 1 snow mana).

@tankthebest: The early developers saw green as a card color that revolved around nature, not just forests and elves and flora and fauna. So things like Blizzards, Hurricanes, Tsunamis, even Snowblinds were all green, as they were manifestations of nature, albeit ones that involved lots of water. Somewhere along the way, the developers decided that Magic players were not sophisticated enough to connect elements of snow and winter with green's more general nature color (despite all relevant cultural references to nature and the environment as "green") and instead began associating all similar cards having to do with water, frozen or not, with the somewhat more intuitive blue. This is all nonsensical in the long run, but hopefully it at least explains why green got cards like Blizzard back in the good ol' days.

Situational at best, even then there are better flying hosers for {G}{G} such as Canopy Surge for {1G} or Scattershot Archer for {G}

This thing is a hot piece of crap. Anything other then a 0.5 stars is not acceptable. "Their is worse cards out there" is a bad argument. Please make a deck with this as a sideboard card (only logical choice) and play 100 or so online games with it, then when u actually need to sideboard it come back here and let me know how that worked out for you.

1.635 with 26 votes??????????????????????????
That means at least 12 or so of you rated this a 2. Use your brains, this has very strict deck requirements and is very situational. On top of that fog is better. This is the definition of a 0.5 out of 5

I rate you all down for trolling for voting it otherwise.

My question is why is it green? Yeah, mechanic-wise it's flyer hate which is definitely green, but wouldn't it make more sense for someone blue-aligned to cast a blizzard? It's even {G}{G} instead of {1}{G}!

Edit: @TtothaOtothadoubleD

Thanks for the explanation, very informative.
