After numerous games playing with this card, I have determined that these are not normal caltrops. These are, in fact, laser-guided, rocket-propelled, motion-detecting, heat-seeking caltrops. It's the only rational explanation for why they can hit flying creatures, shadow creatures, unblockable creatures....

I love how this card gets around just about every evasion and protection ability. And my word, that artwork nearly has me out advocating for animal rights.

I have to rate this card a 5 just because I love the idea of it. It's a nice, simple card that can be plugged into any number of decks types in casual play. And they are freaking caltrops that damage flyers, baha. So yeha, actual value is probably like a 3 out of 5. But I'm voting 5 for the cool factor of it all.
