Don't you think it's strange that you don't get to use its mana-fixing ability unless you already have access to black ~and~ green mana? Also, I don't like the white ability because the white and green disciples have the ability of preventing ~two~ points of damage, although from creature sources only..

The most useful of the disciples. I suppose that isn't saying much, but the little guy's pretty versatile, and he IS a one-drop. Excellent as a mana prism in any deck that runs black, green, and other colours.
