It's not Yawgmoth, its Tevesh Szat pictured on this card.

When I first got this, my opponents would always hold their hands up and look at them. I'd watch their eyes...almost always nailed the 'good one.' Got busted one day, now they all look, shuffle, and let me pick. Sux. Good utility in monoblack and 2color. 3.5

Have it in some edh/commander decks. Can kill regenerators and indestructibles alike, is great for multiplayer politics, and has an impact on other peoples playstyle when they know you could kill their stuff. :) Still expensive. 3.5/5

Do you choose the target before or after the card is revealed?

All targets are always chosen when cost is paid. Card is selected and revealed when the ability resolves.

I love playing this card in draft.
And in multiplayer, it's a Multi-Armed Bandit!
