best battlemage. You can shock people, and destroy pesky artifacts. Also, you get a nice 2/2 body that can chump or swing. 4 stars.

3 mana for a 2/2, but its kickers are the cheapest of all Battlemages out there, which makes it very easy to activate.

Arguably the best Battlemage. Kickers are cheap making it feasible to include both at casting. Shock or shatter at your disposal plus a 2/2. Good utility card.

It's funny that the white kicker destroys artifacts. You see red and green doing that much more nowadays.
Anyways, 3 for 1 with a small board presence for 5 mana seems right. Easily recurred ability, costs less mana if you don't need one of the abilities. Pretty much the perfect card, really.
