Was just yesterday noticing that the Phyrexians narrowly missed the boat on "dies" templating. Glad to see that Oculus's strictly-better counterpart has already been updated!

Very good card. a 1/1 flying body for 1U that will give you a card upon chump blocking (and possibly trading creatures)? Underestimated. Provides -- Creature advantage, card advantage (on death), evasion. Honestly, what else do you ask for in your early drops?

If anyone disagrees, post a comment and a good de***ion why please.

Enduring Renewal + Ashnod's Altar + mana fixing....or if you're oldschool and you like Candelabra of Tawnos - get creative enough and you can break this for infinite card draw and mana. They can see your hand, but it won't matter.

I actually run this as a sideboard card in my casual faerie deck. Sometimes an expendable fae is just what you want against a deck filled with cheap removal like burn, and the secondary tribal (rogue) is great with cards like Oona's Blackguard.
The only shame is the death trigger doesn't get reuses from my Faerie Impostors. ):
