This is an interesting sideboard option for punishing people for playing powerful creatures. It's multicolorness (sorta) and kicker templating really allowed them to make a much, much more interesting take on Terror/Doom Blade. Against Ajani, who is basically running Zoo Lightsaber, I would probably prefer Doom Blade, but I would absolutely keep one of these ready against Garruk and Overwhelming Stampede. It's really a fine card for control players to consider running. What's the point of running control anyway if you don't get to use more mana?

I prefer Phthisis, but this is much better in Nicol's three color deck.

Can damage to a creature's controller be redirected to a planeswalker that player controls?

Arbiter: Damage MUST be redirected from a player to a planeswalker for it to work. if you cast lightning bolt to hit my PW you target me then redirect it.

Used to play this, but then I found that cheaper options helped me stay alive much easier. Still a nice card.
