Hey, when this thing resolves, opponents feel the punch.. Its very splashable to any deck that wants a hint of black, overall not a bad card.

It runs a risk of being dead late game, like most other discard spells. I am a fan of mind rot, would like to have seen new art though! But, this art is fantastic by all means!!

When the heck is black getting an upgrade for this. No one is all that pleased with it.

How about Stupor, with new art?

Man, this thing needs an upgrade. Just because Hymn to Tourach was broken doesn't mean we need to stay at this low level of power forever.

I would never, ever play this card in a Black discard deck. I think doing so would be a mistake. However, as LordOfTheFlies87 mentioned, Stupor would have been a very good replacement. My guess, however, is that WotC considers Stupor to be just a tad too powerful nowadays, and wants to ensure that the only way people win is through tapping creatures sideways.

Pretty solid discard. Works best when your opponent only has 2 cards in their hand.
