if you've never stolen an opponent's land before you're missing out.

Not bad, but did it have to be 5cc? Consider this was made when very powerful Lands were played by many people, mostly in Casual play. I'll take that Maze of Ith, Diamond Valley, or Bazaar of Baghdad, thanks.

I confiscated a cloudpost once, truly an overwhelming experience.

I once stole a Dark Depths with Confiscate, it was epic cuz it had like 3 counters left on it.

Play with Leyline of Anticipation and Conquer their Dark Depths in response to them putting Vampire Hexmage's ability on the stack.
Even in realistic situations, it's not a bad card. This is especially true if your opponent is using a lot of Ravnica block 'bounce' dual lands.

Voided Note: Couldnt you just wait and confiscate the 20/20 token?

The blue CMC equivilant, Volition Reins, gives you any permanent... If you're focused on LD, this is a good pick, but i'd rather steal their planeswalker the turn they finally got that last point needed for the final..

Stone rain being the standard 3-mana for a land destruction price, Conquer nets you a 2-mana swing for less than double the cost, and can easily set you up to play it plus a stone rain on the next turn.
