"Use this ability only once"

So if you somehow stop the sacrifice (Stifle?), you can never use the ability again. Probably because he still broke the skis.

...more importantly, the ability doesn't wear off at end of turn. It simply says "Goblin Ski Patrol gets +2/+0 and gains flying" and the sacrifice takes care of the rest. If you don't sac it somehow, you've got yourself a 3/1 flying goblin, presumably caught perpetually in the middle of the most awesome ski jump ever.

Huh... the oracle rulings do indeed confirm that you can play the ability only once. Now that is some dedicated flavour. Nothing a quick Flicker can't fix, but still some pretty cool stuff.
