Card drawing is always a good thing and this guy will make blocking drake tokens a treat. I feel like I'm forgetting something....nope, I don't forget anything because I am a pro.

All the people rating this are being just a tad bit too generous I think. Cantripping or not, this is still a 2/2 flyer for 3U that, outside of Limited, will not see--and should not see--any actual play. Not to mention that, unlike an actual cantrip, this creature has the chance of never actually netting you a card if it never dies (ie. Arrest). From experience, unless your creature is a Solemn Simulacrum, actively hoping your own creatures die is never a good thing.

2/5. A 2/2 flier for 4? Its ok in limited but not much else.

Card draw is always nice.

Interesting rules question came up one night in FNM:
-Opponent attacks with this and another 2/4 flyer.
-I have Hypersonic Dragon, but it's tapped out.
-Instant-cast Traitorous Instinct targetting the Runewing.
-Block his creature with his (my) Runewing
Both died, obviously, but who gets the card draw?
The judge ruled in my favor, but it's still a pretty vague solution?
Is it when Runewing is put into YOUR graveyard, or when YOUR Runewing dies?
