Other than what has already been stated about his second ability, I like the fact that one can access his ultimate ability relatively quick.

Koth is the primary means to building a "Big Red" deck since his printing, and wonderfully fun to play with. I almost always play 4.

His -2 works well with any given X-costed deal X damage red spell. Any one.

@Antthemighty, mana always leaves your mana pool when you end your turn. Your mana pool is not the set of lands you have. Lands produce mana; they are not themselves mana.

As for the art, I had pictured Koth as being more the earthy side of red, rather than the fiery side.

I modified my Koth copy to make him look like Asura from Asura's Wrath.

Works really well.

He got blacker.

New art is vastly improved, my only criticism is that the smoking hands are a bit similar to the flaming hand thing they push with Chandra. I'd like to see art that really shows heat instead of just flames and smoke.

Exactly what a Vulshok should look like. ESPECIALLY him. Nice.
