Raging Minotaur if you really want to keep the Minotaur subtype. Only reason Minotaur Tactician isn't strictly worse than Raging Minotaur is because he is potentially more splash-able.

Compared to all the newer cards ( Wild Nacatl and the Cohorts from Shadowmoor ) this is a very weak card. Even older cards ( Raging Minotaur or Talruum Minotaur ) are better than this. This was a poorly designed card.

Goblin Chariot is a 2/2 Haste for 2Red and Talruum Minotaur is a 3/3 Haste for 2RedRed. that manes the difference from a 2/2 Haste and a 3/3 Haste is Red for an X/X 'French Vanilla' Haster. A 1/1 'French Vanilla' Haster is Red. So the transition from a 1/1 to a 2/2 is 2 which can also be translated as Red. So a 1/1 Haster with the potential to be a 3/3 should really be around 2Red or RedRed; learning more towards the RedRed cost.

At it's current cost this card is WAY to expensive.

Come on, Wizards, the same converted mana cost and from the same set as Lightning Angel? It's strictly worse than many different cards, including the colorless Pierce Strider from the next set.. The good thing is that hybrid-mana costs allow you to play this card in a mono-red deck, however you would need one red/blue and one red/white creature! :(

Even as a kid I knew this card sucked. Because a) I mainly use mono-color decks, b) Even under the right conditions he's still only a 3/3 with haste, and c) I didn't like his art.

Should of deserved no stars at all and keep it at 0. This is the worst haste creature ever. Not only do you need to satisfy two conditions to get it pumped, Talruum Minotaur does it a lot better than this piece of shit. Garbage should stay in garbage... wtf were you thinking Wotc?

There are a couple of 4 mana 3/3s with haste but this just takes the cake for being the worst haste creature. Minotaur Tactician? More like Failure Tactician.
