Ah the noble ascendants of the Soulsworn Jury continue their endless pursuit of justice in the spirit realm once more! What joy!

If {W}/{U} spirits becomes a thing, which it really could/should, this would be awesome. Think about it:

Geist of Saint Traft
Drogskol Captain
Midnight Haunting
Lingering Souls
Niblis of the Urn
Dungeon Geists (permanent Detain)
Deadeye Navigator (paired with this for {1}{U}: Detain)

After having played against the Detain mechanic at the pre-release I can say its fairly legit. Don't know if it will see Constructed play but I think there is some real viability here. Mizzium Skin to protect the Captain.

Lovin' the creepy design of these Azorius spirits.

Look at the art of Soulsworn Jury and you'll notice that it has rope tied around its body, where his arms are. So that's what happens when you take off the rope!

Phallic spirits and phallic wurms! GO RAVNICA!

Is this the official gesture of Spirits when they want to scare the hell out of somebody?
Look at Drogskol Reaver for another example.

Ok in limited, crappy everywhere else. A 2/1 ain't worth four mana in constructed, no matter if it detains and is unblockable or not.

Gatherer works better in the Companion app!
