The Azorious guild is looking to be very strong with all of this detaining going on. Pros like me will be using this card frequently.

His body is a bit too small for my opinion. Four mana for a 2/2? Hmm... We can already get two power creatures for just one mana. So you basically pay three for the detain. That can be very good at times, and at other times do nothing at all. So I guess he is good in limited, but not good enough for constructed decks.

Personally I think LotsOfPoopy has the best comments on half the cards here. I rate pretty much all of them 5/5.
As for the card itself? YAY DETAIN STUFF!

Ironically MisterAction, you're helping him...
Which is what I'm doing as well...
ANYWAY, there was a situation where I had this and a Skymark Roc out.
I PLANNED on bouncing the Justiciar every time I attacked, but before I made a fool out of myself, I noticed the Roc said, "defending player".
Regardless, in limited, you might actually be happier playing Dramatic Rescue on her, especially if you're chump blocking something first.

3/5 A strong limited staple but underpowered and overcosted for constructed. It might see some contructed play with bounce and blink effects.

I cannot wait to see this card drafted in a Boros deck. Turn 1, Boros Elite. Turn 2, Skyjek Halberdiers. Turn 3, Ember Beast. Turn 4, Detain two of their creatures and do 9 damage. Wild.
