Actually- no. I am really sad they did not use Slagstorm in this spot. Clearly better, AND more flavorful.
If you want to make a Koth Theme Deck, the first thing you do is take out this and put in Slagstorm.

Bloodfire Colossus' younger brother, which isn't exactly a bad thing. 4 mana isn't that much to possibly waste (if countered, killed before boom, or prevented), and sometimes, you don't always want to deal more than 2 damage.
What if your general is a 3/3, like Krenko? What if you have a bunch of goblin boosters, but not enough to make them 7/7s??
Smaller versions of big cards have a place. All cards have a place.
