whenever I make a casual blue deck, this bird always seems to be the first creature added. It's a solid little 2-drop with a scry attached. This bird helps me "cheat" to the cards I need, so it seems only natural to add him.

There are worse creatures to bounce, although it's a pity they didn't give one that cost one or two cheaper.

Works great in an Quest for Ula's Temple deck. It lets you filter for creatures while still being a creature in case you need one to hit. Then if your temple has the tokens, it lets you filter for leviathans.

My brother called this "Angry Owl" the other day.
Beware the Angry Owl!

An evasive flyer early game, that can help you get bigger cards late game when you need them. I might put this in my deck posted on High Tide as a replacement for Welkin Tern, because the deck can be a bit inconsistent.
@ProfCharles
It looks pretty angry-probably because somebody called it "angry owl".
