...I only just realized that this doesn't say "you control" anywhere. Against non-tribal, you can easily use this to have two of your opponent's creatures murder each other.

Come on guys, it kills 2 creatures of equally abstractly large sizes, it's not that bad. Seeing as power is valued far more then toughness you are going to be able to trade up creatures of varying sizes. Think card advantage guys. Also reminds me of dead ringers a bit.
