Enchanting an enchantment? We're stepping into some Inception territory now.

This card seems to get mixed feelings because of its lack of speed. I can understand that, but what makes it stand out to me is that not only is it a permanent but an enchantment as well. Unlike a lot of instants or sorceries that are only used once and discarded, this can be returned from the graveyard through cards like Auramancer, Dowsing Shaman or Nature's Spiral. Being an enchantment aura allows for synergy with cards such as Mesa Enchantress, Kor Spiritdancer, Celestial Ancient and Totem-guide Hartebeest to name only a few. Also, the life gain has its uses when considering things like Searing Meditation or Ajani's Pridemate and surpasses other options (Ajani's Mantra). Put on your own combat-hindering enchantment, Moat for example, in your enchantress deck for free lifegain and a killswitch to allow your alpha-strike.

On this card's art we can see the same thing that is in the art of Disenchant (Timeshifted in Time Spiral)

I actually like this card a lot. I love that it can be artifact or enchantment removal, but if your opponent isn't playing any, you can put this on one of your own artifacts or enchantments to gain life each turn. So it's rarely a dead draw n the right deck.

Similarly, I'm also a sucker for Faith's Fetters and wish it cost 1 mana less.
