Considering Crosis shouting the Word of Death causes anyone who hears it to instantly die, this card should have been way more powerful.

Eh... underwhelming. There are other cards which do pretty much the same thing better - Fear for a start :p. Note that being an instant doesn't really add that much utility to it.

You are right stygimoloch, Fear being better than this card really says something about its badness.
This card needs a cantrip, dumb waste of paper here, cycle Dirge of Dread or play Ebony Charm.

Grants Fear to let Crosis ram through and trigger his combat ability. Seems legit to me.
