It's the magical stone that floats between the horns of the oldest being in the multiverse.
And it's uncommon.

It seems that Farseek may not be the only card hinting at Shocklands or Dual variants with Basic types.
Shocklands to me seem very Bolas-flavored.

Interesting thought: By sacrificing this, you ensure that you have the mana upkeep that pre-ascension Nicol Bolas needed to stick around. (Of course, with my luck, that's exactly what Trygon Predator meant...)

Bolas will have his lands, whether you like it or not.

Sometimes a 3 for one can be very powerful: Spiraling Embers, Seismic Assault and all of the retrace cards.

Well, at least we all finally know what's up with that thing between his horns. At least we know what its called....

I hear you, Lord Bolas, and I obey... lands you shall have, and there shall be much mana ramping to better smite thy foes...

Always chuckled when Nicol Bolas in DotP played like 8 moxes and then this piece. It's like really, that's your big spell? And then he played Grave and Inferno Titan. And then I kicked a Rite of Replication at the Inferno Titan and killed him immediately. Good times...
