Very very swingy; in limited especially, if you cast this guy in a position of power and get him operational, he'll keep you there for the rest of the game if your opponent can't answer him. If you cast him from behind, he's a 1/1 for 2...
That said, this is stellar in Limited. I calls it now, if you see it, draft it.

Combine this guy with Blade of the Bloodchief and its insane. He'll gain 2 +1/+1 counters for everytime a creature dies whether by him or not. This just amps up his 2R burn greatly.

This is a really good card, guys. Maybe not in constructed, but it's gunna be great in casual and in Sealed.

I almost lost in the pre-release, to a deck with him in it, but this guys ability not targeting players saved my @$$. I won game 3 with 1 life left.

Awesome, I needed a fun 2 drop for my vampire deck. And Blade of the Bloodchief helps feed it to make it even more potent. Glad I got a few in my fat pack!

Limited experience. This guy was rough to deal with. This guy is essentially immune to that one aura in blue as its removal.
