Just great.

With all the fun blink effects in Avacyn Restored, this ought to be even better this time around.

@eternalblue Yes, actually. You are correct. It's actually drawing a card for is already above the curve, but a 1/1 elf (good in an elf tribal) stapled on.

Throw on Rancor and suddenly you've got a free 3/1 trampler that'll probably trade for an opposing blocker. If it doesn't, there's always Deadly Allure.

If you have Elvish Archdruid or Roaring Primadox, this card is nuts. If not, it's still a cantripping dude for two mana that can swing for one, chump block, carry a Ring of Kalonia, etc. It's an enabler in every Elves deck in every format, makes a great link in a Birthing Pod chain, etc. I even play it in my casual Devour deck! How is this not 5/5?

Good for Elf champion cards. Comes back into play and you draw a card.

There are better things to bounce, but this is always a solid filler in limited formats.

@bowlofgumbo this makes wonders in a elf deck with elvish archdruids and harmonize.

@ Eternal Blue
Indeed, this card CAN end up being just "zero-card chump once for 1G"... but other times it can be more. You get +1 card advantage in ANY circumstance where it trades with a creature. There are plenty of powerful X/1's that this card can potentially trade with.
Don't forget about Nightshade peddler.
This card can also hold some equipment, too.

@Eternal_Blue
I can think of a certain scarecrow that actually likes chump blocking cantrips. Nevermind tribal synergies, potential flicker/recursion cantripping or just being something to sacrifice that paid for itself.
