So you left two lands open for your mana leak? I don't think so.

Clear the field of blockers, shut down land, or restore your own. I'm liking it.

@ RaikNaSeem

The enchanted creature has that ability. Therefore your opponent would be in full control of using it. They would just tap your stuff down and thank you for it.

@ liphttam1

Mana empties from their pool as steps and phases end. They would lose that mana during combat and it would be useless (except against combat tricks which could be what you are referring to) as they could simply cast things without fearing Mana Leak on their second Main Phase.

Definitely a neat card all 'round.

I think this is underrated. It's not that spectacular at first sight, but it's really good in play.

You know... it have flexible use. You can choose what benefits you most. In my Bruna EDH, I use it mostly for untapping my lands while swinging with Kor Spiritdancer or another weenies I draw. In later phases of game, it's great in removing annoying blockers from combat. Sure... it's not big bad "I WIN" aura, but it's really useful trick to have.

It must be beast in limited...

OK, is just because I'm crazy, but why haven't anyone think on playing this card on an opponents creature?
I attack him with my kick ass creature and then if he attacks with enchanted creature... BOOM I Untap my kick ass creature and block his creature!!!

@Aqir In response to the attacking creature targeting the land, the other player can tap the land. And add the blue mana to his or her mana pool. Which would later be used to play said Mana Leak

A very good card if you know how to utilize it. I plan to put this on my Invisible Stalker which gives me a few options:
- I untap my own Mana for: Think Twice, Thought Scour, Feeling of Dread, Vapor Snag & Counter Spell
- I tap their Mana they saved to counter a spell, give them safe passage from combat, flicker (and/or: Restoration Angel), Murder or removal forcing them to act before the ability resolves. This allows me to safely play on the restrictions they will have mid-late game on my turn. Situational of course. But what in Magic isn't?
- I untap my creature after I just attacked giving it Vigilance (as mentioned)
- I tap down their creature that would be blocking this turn giving safe passage

I plan to run this combo in my Frost Titan/Tamiyo deck. As you can imagine the sort of control I would have with the cards I mentioned above as well as giving me time to miracle on Temporal Master & Entreat of Angels.
