yes there are a lot better 1/1s for 1, hell, theres even a 1/1 for 0 now.

although it wont be a staple in any deck, a 1/1 for 1 with a semi useful ability is still good. In the off chance you come accross a wall, maybe wall of denial, it will actually be better than the 1/1 for 1.

No, this card is borderline useless. A plain 1/1 for 1 is BAD, and his ability is not that good.

The past is filled with Walls and wall-affecting spells. Ever since Defender, these cards have become mostly useless.
