At uncommon this is a damn good 4 drop. The extra color weight gives him +1 toughness and most creatures you would abuse with his ability are 1-3 drops with lower p/t anyway.

FLAVOUR OVERLOAD!
When I first started playing Magic, I searched through weird sets for cards. I got 1 Stone Giant from 3rd edition... for some reason (I was playing a mono-red burn deck... I still don't know why).
Anyway, back then, I didn't think much of it. Now, it's practically a Fling... or a Brion Stoutarm, minus the direct damage/immediate sacrifice mechanical. I think the difference in art (Mostly naked Barbarian Giant vs. Goat-Throwing Giant). The "less toughness" aspect is soooooo cool!
There's obviously the smart way to use him, like throwing something weak to block something with flying. Throw a Typhoid Rats for epic defence (and... how do you throw an horde of rats???).
However, throw a Ball Lightning, and Stone Giant becomes Ryu.

I can't get the thought of this giant being a sniper of sorts out of my head. As he sees the incoming Storm Crow soaring over the treetops, he picks up a Little Girl and tosses her as hard as he can, making the bird disappear in an explosion of feathers.

Fair casting cost for what you get. Very flavorful ability.
5/5 for being well-balanced and an ideal magic card for the casting cost
