If your really looking for Firebreathing, I'd say use Captive Flame.
I still like this card though.

Not only does Greater Stone Spirit give one of your creatures firebreathing but it also gives it the toughness to use with it. Then the funky flier-no block rule. hmmm Have to see how it pans out.
