Useless trivia: the original art (shown here) was lost, hence the need for new art and making Plateau the only Dual Land with 2 different pieces of art.

I like the newer art better anyway. This one is too zoomed-in, so you don't really get a sense of the openness that gives it its plains side (and which defines plateaus in real life.)

It's cards like these that make me wish every card cost a number of dollars = to the number of stars it recieves on Gatherer. :p
Actually, I think that would be a wonderful new rule for Wizards to adopt for future cards. :)
4.991 stars = 1994, the year of...something important in history. was that Black Summer?

In a dead tie with the Alpha Savannah for the highest rated card on Gatherer at 4.991 stars. Damn, that is close to being perfect, who is the troll that downvoted it?
