Wow, that ability is not usually on a black card. If anything it would be the other way around.

nice ability on an uncommon 4/4 for five mana. It only redirects the damage from one creature, though, so its really only useful against evasive ones. Otherwise, he can block 'em! To his credit, he blocks well.

Hey! It's a Nightstalker Night Stalker! Guess this was before it was one word.
Anyway, this isn't horrible, but it's expensive, so it's probably not worth it.

This card could come in handy but I've never used it because it very ugly. To ugly to put in deck. I mean, just look at the guy. Play this card and you'll get laughed at. I'm sorry, I just hate ugly art on magic cards.

Have him block something that he'll survive, then let him take the biggest hit tagging you. Seems somewhat useful...

It seems more white than black, but I guess they have Simulacrum. The thematics on this card are all over the place, though... how does a night stalker redirect damage to itself? What's with the Shakespeare quote about contagion and darkness?
It feels like its ability was assigned at random.
