Check the rulings: regeneration doesn't work. Fog on the other hand works well.

One of my favorite magic cards. The art totally reminds me of Baphomet in Clive Barker's Nightbreed!! And I loooove that movie!
The Italian version is named "Il Corrutorre", which means "The Corruptor", which is actually an even more fitting name. I once even wrote a metal text with that title...

Armor up, my wretched friend! Put on your Nemesis Mask and your Darksteel Plate and become master of all. Best part of it is how easy it is to imagine the demon with the armor on, it looks awesome!
