Blood of the MartyrOnce a two star card at best, it is now easily a 3 star support card in the Treacherous Linkand Pariahand Pariah Shield infinity combo decks! Along with Ali From Cairo,Fortune Thief,Jade Monolith,General's Regalia,Bubble Matrixand Worship!

If this were made today it would probably cost White.

I really like the flavor text from this card, and I can see it being rather useful in the right sort of deck (probably one with Circle of Protection : Red or Story Circle). But I think my favorite part is the flavor text--maybe it's not funny like some of the other flavor text, but it has an interesting meaning.

the art is cool, chicks with red eyes are always interesting.

This is a pretty bad card. Sure, you can think of weird combinations like the Sorrow's Path + BoTM + Reverse Damage. However, even the casting cost is way too expensive for what it does. 1/5

Does this make lifegain deck useable????
Answer: *** NO.
Second Opinion: Felidar Sovereign makes them playable.

Best art from back then, big time.
Bad card, but 4\5 just for that badass art.

3.5 only for CC. This plus savage twister plus damage-to life- converter.
