Awesome flavor text marred by a subpar card, or a sub-par card made much more interesting by its flavor text?

@Test-Subject: Nope, rule 702.19g. Creatures in a band don't share or lose abilities. So basically you can trample this guy over (provided you kill the blocker with another of your banded fellas). And since the bander gets to distribute damage, he usually does *not* die to wolf token.

Well, if it attack-bands with another creature, the other creature can deal the lethal damage, and it can just stomple on over.

Banding with trample is a good concept, this creature may seem a little overpriced for the size though.

Dies to a wolf token. How does this happen.

Pretty neat if you wanted to make a banding deck, especially now with all the white removal.

Ironic, because a creature with Banding and a 2/2 creature with trample are, by themselves, quite pointless.

Oddly enough he can only effectively band with other copies of himself, unless you want to give up the trample.

White used to get trample, huh?
Funny.
