Interesting card that replaces itself, but most graveyard hate does not target things.

Funnily enough, this actually works as anti-graveyard hate! It will keep your opponent from clearing things out with Withered Wretch or Scavenging Ooze or what-have-you.

Not just useful as graveyard hate, but can also be used to protect your own graveyard shenanigans against opposing graveyard hate. For example, use this with your undying or persist creatures to prevent Deathrite Shaman and Scavenging Ooze from eating them up.

Wait... Seton, Krosan Protector got a flavor text gig in M13? 11 years after being printed in Odyssey and basically being ditched, never to be heard from again? How peculiar...
They did the same thing with Baron Sengir on Elixir of Immortality. Are these merely easter eggs for long-term players, or a sign of things to come?
