I can't believe they printed this, and not, say, Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle! In fact... *quick check* There is not a SINGLE card from the entire Zendikar block! Zendikar as in, the one block that focuses on LANDS! Or is this on purpose?

It needs to loose the legendary clause, come into play untapped, tap for colorless mana, get rid of the loss of life part, and be able to tap for any color mana when using its uncounterable ability.
I am joking of course, but the above is whats going on with Cavern of Trolls.

It's kind of like Pact of Negation and a LOT like Cavern of Souls: It forces through something you really need/want forced through. One of my many correct predictions for this set- the 'Kamigawa Representative' ^_^

Love this card alongside Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth in a Bx deck. Still comes in tapped, but can tap for B if you don't need it to be uncounterable.
Currently running it in a WB creatureless 'ramp' deck that ramps via Cabal Coffers (using Expedition Map and Beseech the Queen to find the lands required for that engine if need be), which finishes in either a massive Entreat the Angels or Consume Spirit for lethal. Finally managed to play it against someone playing a counter-heavy UB deck, and even though my draws quite frankly sucked (didn't naturally draw any coffers to power out a 3+ Diabolic Revelation as early as I would've liked, as I didn't get Urborg, Boseiju or Coffers through draws and had to use my 2 Expedition Map draws for Urborg and Boseiju), but having uncounterable spells and not playing any creatures meant I blanked a lot of the fuel in his hand. When I finally got the Revelation off and picked out my singleton Identity Crisis (as well as a Consume Spirit and another Coffe... (see all)
