Stop talking Blizzardspectre, please. It's not a Lhurgoyf. Please read the card, and stop saying "First".

It's more of a Boneyard Wurm than anything.

At first I dismissed this as an overly expensive manland that I'd never get around to using.
Then I found myself with an empty field staring across at my opponents similarly empty field.
I had 6 lands and an 8/8 golgari grave-troll in my hand ready to roll out but I could smell the dissipate waiting for it.
2 turns later, Svogthos finished stomping my opponent into jelly.

Sacced this for lethal with Jarad (Right after I sacced Lhurgoyf twice with Mikaeus)
Im loving Jarad as my general in edh.

Just wondering if this effect would have the same multi-activation effect as Raging Ravine? I can't find any rulings on this on saying why or why not...

It's a plant AND a zombie? Then which side is it on?

Reallly good! If you're being controlled, you eat the opponent alive. If you're not? Well it's no tempo loss so you're probably eating the opponent alive!

Manlands are not to be underestimated, especially ones you can safely run 3 of in a deck without screwing your mana base.

Recurrable in-color with Life from the Loam!

@TheDarkLight: The activation doesn't add anything to an existing value, add counters, or give any kind of trigger to the permanent. It only sets the value of the toughness and power. If you activated it twice, it would be set to the same value twice. It's just like Celestial Colonnade: animating that card twice won't make it an 8/8.

I'm running a 56-creatures The Mimeoplasm edh deck in which it isn't unreasonable for this land to attack as a 20/20 fatty. It's hilarious, and as mentioned by Blurrymadness, it's even recurrable with Life from the Loam.
